This fermentation jar was designed by Normandy Alden of Cairncrest Farm and slipcast in Illinois, USA in small batches. It is 12" tall and 13" wide. Holds about 4.5 gallons, and comes with die weights. Preserve the bounty of your home garden through the ancient practice of fermentation. We will include our favorite recipe for Dilly Beans when you order this jar. Make your own sauerkraut, kimchi, lacto-fermented pickles, pickled beets and carrots. This past summer we had great success fermenting our garlic scapes. The possibilities are endless and it seems that everywhere we turn there is a new study about the health benefits of fermented foods.
